The Power of giving


I got this insight from a man named Hadi Purnomo, citing the opinion of Joe Vitale, author of Spiritual Marketing.

Purnomo said in his article that when a person gives, then the gift would be return to him in multiple quantities. If you donate some money, then one day you will get the money several times from the money you have donated earlier. If you give a help, but soon you get more help. If you teach a science to others, then you will get more knowledge. In other words, the more you give (money, energy, science, etc.), the more you will get.

What is said above Purnomo reminded me of the conception of Islam, my religion, of charity. Islam strongly encourages Muslims to much to give. Even in the Alqur’an, the Merciful God promising multiple rewards for every gift you give to others.

I myself was a very confident with it, and had often proved the truth of this. Since several years I used to charity or helping other people achieve something, or teach something to someone else. The impact is enormous. I very often get the money through various roads that I never would have thought. I also often get help without ask. I was reuniting with a lot of experience and valuable lessons.

I believe what I found was the fruit of all the gifts given to others. In many ways, I facilitated, because of my gift.

I believe all religions teach the power of giving. Even in Islam, giving is one recipe for achieving wealth. Whoever gives, God will give him abundant wealth.

So, if you want to be rich, or free from poverty, or all of your needs fulfilled,use one of these spiritual powers: the power of giving!

Pareto Law: 20% effort to determine the 80% of success

I first heard this Pareto law from Dr. Rhenald Kasali in his book "Change" about a year ago. This law is itself triggered by an Italian economist, Pareto Vilvredo in early 1900. This law is also known as the 20/80 law (the law of few) where a few (20%) largely determine the outcome (80%).

In the context of management of this law can be translated that there is a 20% effort to determine the 80% of success, while another 80% effort to determine just 20% of success.

Pareto Law is very important to determine the focus of effort was going to do to achieve success. He must find and do some important things that determine most of these results. While most of this or other job he could delegate to others so that he can concentrate on tasks that really determines your success.

For example there are 10 work to be done to achieve a mission you must finish. So as a leader, you have to find two jobs (20%) the most important 80% that determines the success of your mission to try with yourself. Meanwhile, eight other job (80%) of 20% only determine mission success, can you delegate to subordinates or other parties.

By using this kind of Pareto law, you can ensure that all efforts to 'key' which determines your success, can be resolved properly.

About the Use of Time

Time is something very valuable. In fact, for me, time is more valuable than money. People who waste time is was more stupid than people who spend money. If the money runs out, we still can find. But if time runs out? we will never get it again.

We may already be aware of this. But we often forget that a lot of our time wasted on things that are not productive. While other people may have used his time very productive.

I, you, and everyone else, have the same time, only 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. But in that same time, each person grabbed the number and quality of achievement that different from each other. Something within a year had achieved many things, but others in the same time does not produce anything. There are people who in a day can earn millions of dollars, while many others do not get a dime from 24 hours of their time.

When we see it in the context of this time, what causes these differences is a matter of achieving effective use of time. If you include people who spend most of your time for jobs is very important, productive, high-profit, of course you'll get a lot of things: knowledge, experience, and also an abundant income. Conversely, if the same time you use to do and try to accomplish something unimportant, unproductive, and unprofitable, do not be surprised if we are left far behind.
